Autoindustrie: Neuer deutscher Bentley-Chef setzt auf den Superluxus-SUV

“Wir werden das Problem lösen, dass Sie derzeit keinen SUV für mehr als 140.000 Pfund bekommen”: Bentleys neuer CEO Wolfgang Dürheimer will den Kundenkreis der britischen Luxusmarke hochexklusiv halten – und dennoch mehr Autos verkaufen. Bis 2018 soll die VW-Tochter auf 15.000 verkaufte Autos im Jahr kommen. Doch die Spannungen zwischen der Ukraine und Russland und die unsicheren wirtschaftlichen Perspektiven in China lassen Dürheimer vorsichtige Töne anschlagen. “Unsere Ziele waren vielleicht zu aggressiv”, sagte der Deutsche in London. Er korrigiert damit die Umsatzerwartungen für das laufende Jahr “leicht nach unten”, will 2014 aber dennoch ein zweistelliges Wachstum bei der Zahl der verkauften Luxusautos erreichen. Auch am Ziel der 15.000 Wagen bis 2018 hält Dürheimer fest.
